Collegium Basilea
(Institute of Advanced Study)
Purpose and Commitment
The aim of the Collegium Basilea is
to promote disinterested, independent scientific enquiry, and to make the
results available to society. Its mission is to encourage and enable scientists
to pursue work which, because of its fundamental, transdisciplinary, innovative
or speculative nature, would be difficult to pursue elsewhere.
